If you’d like to send reminders with a link to an instructional document or a payment link to your clients, you can! You can include URL links in Message Templates for various reasons such as:

  • Directions to an appointment location

  • Pre-pay for a service

  • Required medical forms

  • Documents requiring signature

Note: We don't recommend using a URL shortener like Bitly or Tinyurl. Putting shortened URLs in a message makes it more likely to be blocked by phone carriers. US carrier policies strongly discourage the use of shared public URL shorteners due to the frequency of use in sending spam messages.

To add a link to your reminders:

  1. Go to Settings > Reminders in your GoReminders account.

  2. Select the desired Message Template to add the link.

  3. Paste the link into the Message Template and customize your message as needed.

  4. Click the orange Save button next to the reminder template to keep the changes.

You can include a unique payment link in your reminders to receive payments or deposits with Payment Processing.

To add a payment link to your reminders:

  1. Go to Settings > Reminders in your GoReminders account.

  2. Select the desired Message Template to add the link.

  3. Click the Template Tags button in the upper left corner of the message box.

  4. Choose the "Pay Link" tag to add the payment link to your template and customize your message as needed.

  5. Click the orange Save button next to the reminder template to keep the changes.

Our Booking Form link can also be included in your Message Templates so it’s even easier for clients to book their next appointment!

To add the Booking form link to your reminders:

  1. Go to Settings > Reminders in your GoReminders account.

  2. Select the desired Message Template to add the link.

  3. Click the Template Tags button in the upper left corner of the message box.

  4. Choose the "Booking Link" tag to add the Booking Form link to your template and customize your message as needed.

  5. Click the orange Save button next to the reminder template to keep the changes.

Other links (like Dropbox for example) can also be used in our message templates. See our video below for visual instructions on how to put links into your GoReminders Message Templates.
