If your business involves traveling to clients' home or businesses to perform services such as landscaping, snow removal, security equipment set-up, etc and you would like to inform your clients on the same day when staff will be arriving for their appointment, our reminders can help!
You can create a message template for "Same Day Arrivals" in your Reminder settings. Then scroll down to the Message Sequence section and create a "Same Day Arrivals" sequence. Set up the first reminder to send immediately and then choose the "Same Day Arrivals" as the first reminder.
Then, go to the New tab or to the Calendar tab and do the following:
On the Appointment Form, enter the client’s personal information (ie. full name, phone number, and/or email address) and select the Reminder type (ie. text, email, or both) for the kind of reminder you want to send.
Select the "Same Day Arrivals" Message Sequence in the Messages(s) drop-down menu to send the same-day appointment.
Click the orange Save button to create the new appointment and send the message.
If the appointment is created within 1 hour of the actual appointment time, the reminder will be sent out immediately. Otherwise, it will be sent out on the same day according to the reminder schedule in your Message Sequence.
