Including URLs or links in Message Blasts can enhance customer engagement, drive traffic to specific pages, encourage actions, and provide recipients with valuable information and opportunities. If you'd like to send a group message that includes a link to your customers, you can! You can include URL links in Message Blasts for various reasons such as:
send your Booking Form link so your customers can easily book their own appointments
business updates like promotions, new product launches, new locations, changes to your operating hours, holiday schedule, and more
To include URLs or links in a Message Blast, simply paste the link into the message box on the Message Blast page and customize your message as needed.
To include a file or photo link from your uploaded Files and Photos:
First, get the link to send a file or photo from More > Files & Photos > File Browser
Click the share icon in any file list (appointment, customer, or account-wide).
This will generate a public link that you can send to your customer.
Then simply paste the link into the message box on the Message Blast page and customize your message as needed.
Note: We don't recommend using a URL shortener like Bitly or TinyURL. Putting shortened URLs in a message makes it more likely to be blocked by phone carriers. US carrier policies strongly discourage the use of shared public URL shorteners due to the frequency of use in sending spam messages.
